You dont say why anyone would oppose the Portal School on this site. It has excellent ofsted reports at its current location.
Dont you have a unit for troubled youngsters on the ground of the school you are school govenor already??? or dosent this one count because its private??? Also how many children have to travel from thanet to dover everyday to attend this school? I thought we were the party to act on climate change? counting down the daily travel to and from dover is only going to help reduce congestion.
If we dont have this school, we will end up with a housing estate, at least when the day is over theses kids with "BEHAVIORAL, SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DIFFICULTIES" will go home, if they build another estate here the little buggers will still be on the streets well after midnight running riot and causing problems for the people that already live here.
I can see the school from my house, but nobody has asked what i think!
I went to that school back in 1994 and there is nothing wrong with the place! leave it be.
